I really condemn the comments of this character 'vilambi' (as i do not know whether he is a he or a she or it). Pugazhendhi is my close friend and even took money from me which I in turn arranged through only loans. till date he could not even pay back the loan he took and i paid the interest and settled the account and he could only pay a part of it and till date the pending amount is 3.15 lakh. so i know he could not have manipulated or made money or even for some position or post (not even as a ward member of a municipality) he would have taken up this cause. it is and must be genuine. the only thing i could hold against him (besides the non-payment of money) is that he is misguided and did not have patience to hear my argument that Pirabakaran's only mistake was his temperament which resulted in merciless killings of all the fello militant groups thereby isolating the tamil struggle. second was his killing/maiming his own co-combatants (as Albert Camu said) i have written extensively about all these (as i was the first one to interview pirabakaran for the patriot newspaper in delhi when indo-lanka accord was signed) and also in very many other forums.Pugazhendhi would not understand all that and rightly so as now is the situation where we all, the tamils of the world, have to pressurise both sri lanka and india to veer round to the tamil opinion. however pugazhendhi's work could be a small contribution like that puranic squirril in the Ramayana. otherwise i don't think he is a racketere or created a ruckus in the world tamil diaspora. this is venkat pugazhendhi's fellow traveller
the statement of vilambi is malafide and defamatory. in fact he took money from many friends and is still unable to repay and a few are still sufferers and despite repeated requests not to borrow and make films he does it and is still in huge debts. this vilambi should tender unconditional unqualified apoligies in this very forum or at least let him dare publish his original name and address i will initiate legal proceedings both civil and criminal. freedom of speech and expression does not include the freedom to defame a genuine person
